Frequently Asked Questions

I work alone at times, however I am able to provide a second shooter for a wedding upon request and for an additional price. I do strongly recommend booking a second shooter if the coverage is longer than 4 hours, there are more wedding locations, you have a packed timeline, more than 50 guests or you just wish more angles covered at once. Otherwise I cannot guarantee to have the necessary time to cover absolutely all the details when alone, especially when the timeline has little to no wiggle space.

Since they are not considered a finished product, the raw files are not included in the final package. They are however possible to purchase in addition to the package price. Price varies depending on the package chosen and the amount of images delivered.

Weddings - I send highlights of the wedding day about 72 hours after the event and the rest of the wedding gallery is delivered at most 90 days after the wedding day itself. I do try to deliver them as soon as possible and the delivery period applies mostly for the mid of wedding season (may-oct).
Lifestyle sessions - the final gallery delivery is due approximately 21 days after the session.

A retainer is a prepaid percentage of the package in order to ensure the date only for you. For weddings the amount required is 40% of the package price, which you are obliged to pay when signing the contract.

Yes, upon request I am able to stay up to 14 hours of shooting altogether. Any additional hours will be added to the final invoice. Additional accomodation fees may apply.

I always ask for permission, in case you wish to keep your memories to yourselves. However I would feel really honoured if you would allow me to share a selection of the best images, so I can showcase my work to other potential clients. I can share however much you would allow (either just the details, no people, only silhouettes/no faces, only the two of you without other guests etc…)

Anywhere from a few months and up to a year. You will have a bigger possibility for me to be available on your date, the further out you book. I do not to take bookings more than 18 months in advance, so I leave dates open for any potential postponements from my wedding couples.
-
It depends on the length of coverage, the amount of guests and the overall dynamic of the wedding itself. On average 60-70 photos per hour of coverage, however it can increase, especially when having a second shooter present as well.
-
Yes, I do. I work with three cameras with which I can assure no unwanted mishaps at the event. Whether it’s a wedding or a lifestyle shoot, I always make sure I have extra batteries and memory cards, in case anything would happen and also to be able to cover more hours if the program would run late. I also always simultaneously shoot on 2 cards and make copies as soon as I get to my computer after the event.

The retainer is non-refundable, to offset the loss of business for my company. That is just a risk that comes with it.
-
Since another style of images is not what represents my work, unfortunately no. It took years of practice for me to grow into my own style for which I eventually became recognised for.
-
Yes, I do make custom timeless luxury linen photo books of your event upon request. For my clients, the work that goes into designing the books is discounted.
-
It is the easiest way to deliver photographs to my clients. The client gets an e-mail with a link and password to their gallery, when the photos are ready.
Upon session payment confirmation, they get a PIN number with which they can download the purchased files. -
If the postponement happens due to force majeure (such as the pandemic, an accident…), there is no postponement fee and I’d be happy to cover it whether I am still available on the new date. If you’d happen to postpone the wedding for another reason (ex. pregnancy), there is a certain postponement fee.

I do require a meal for all weddings that last more than 4 hours, so I can execute my job as efficiently as possible throughout the whole day.

You can upgrade your package at any time, even ask me to stay longer at the wedding itself. However downgrading is not possible, once you book a bigger package. *Note that prices may also change between your booking and the wedding date itself, so upgrading later would potentially mean a more expensive package than booking more coverage in the beginning.
